God has made it clear in His Word that He responds to faith. Faith is the belief of a truth which is proven by a corresponding action. (Occasionally, it is proven by inaction, but most times it is proven by action.) For example, I believe the chair in front of me will hold my weight. I prove my belief in the chair by physically sitting in the chair. Belief + Action = Faith.
