Flowing In Harmony and Love
Father, you love has been
shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit; I therefore endure long,
and am patient and kind.
I never boil over with jealousy. I am not boastful or vain glorious. I do not display myself haughtily. I am not conceited, arrogant or inflated with pride.
I am not rude, unmannerly, and do not act unbecomingly. I do not insist on my own rights, for I am not self-seeking.
I am not touchy, fretful, or resentful. I take no account of the evil done to me and I pay no attention to a suffered wrong.
I do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but I rejoice when right and truth prevail.
I bear up under anything. I am ever ready to believe the best of every person.
My hopes are fadeless and I endure everything without weakening.
I never fail, for in all things I am motivated by the love of God. This love causes me to win in every situation.
I eagerly pursue and seek to acquire this love. I make it my aim, my great quest. My love is always sincere.
I love all believers with brotherly affection, for all of us are of one big family.
I give precedence and show honor to others before me.
I contribute to the needs of God’s people, sharing in the necessities of the saints, pursuing the practice of hospitality.
I live in harmony with all men. I repay no one evil for evil, but I take thought for what is honest, proper and noble, aiming to be above reproach in the sight of everyone.
I live at peace with everyone. I overcome evil with good. I love my neighbor as myself. I do no wrong to my neighbors, never hurting anyone.
I live and conduct myself honorably and becomingly as in the open light of day.
I definitely arm for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual up building of all men.
I make it a practice to please my neighbor for his good and for his true welfare, to edify him, to strengthen him and to build him up spiritually.
I live in such harmony and such full sympathy with others, in one accord with Jesus, that together, with united hearts and one voice, we praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of the spirit in the binding power of peace, for we are one body and one Spirit.
My determined purpose in life is that I may know Jesus and His love, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Jesus, perceiving, recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person, that I may lay hold, grasp and make my own the reality of His great love for me, and for all men.
In Jesus name.
