I Am Strong
Dear God, because of Ps91:1 which says, "HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]." I know that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and I remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty Whose power no foe can withstand.
And because of Ps. 73:26 which says, "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever." I know that You are the Rock and the firm strength of my heart, therefore I can say, "I shall not be moved."
And because of 1Cor.15:58 which says, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]." I know that I am steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord, knowing and being continually aware that my labor in the Lord is not futile and it is never wasted or to no purpose.
And because of Ps. 91:7 & 8 which says, "A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked." I know that a thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, it shall not come near me. I am a spectator, I am inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High as I witness the reward of the wicked.
And because Ps. 92:10,12,13 which says, "But my horn (emblem of excessive strength and stately grace) You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil. The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall flourish like the palm tree [be long-lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful]; they shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic, stable, durable, and incorruptible]. Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God." I know that my 'horn', an emblem of my excessive strength and stately grace, You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil. Because I am an uncompromisingly righteous person, I flourish like the palm tree. I am long-lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful; I grow like a cedar in Lebanon. I am majestic, stable, durable, and incorruptible. I am planted in the house of the Lord, and I flourish in the courts of my God.
And because Ps. 94:13 which says, "That You may give him power to keep himself calm in the days of adversity, until the [inevitable] pit of corruption is dug for the wicked." I know that you give me power to keep myself calm in the days of adversity, until the inevitable pit of corruption is dug for the wicked.
And because of Ps.116:8 which says, "For You have delivered my life from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling and falling." I believe you have delivered my life from death, you have delivered my eyes from tears, and you prevent me from stumbling and falling.
And because of Ps 119:28 which says, "Raise me up and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word." I believe you are raising me up and strengthening me according to Your Word.
And because of Prov.31:17 which says, "She girds herself with strength [spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task] and makes her arms strong and firm." I am girding myself with spiritual strength, mental strength, and physical strength, so that I can accomplish my God-given task. And I strengthen myself according to Your Word.
And because of Prov.31:25 which says, "Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future [the latter day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it]!" I put on strength and dignity each morning, and I believe my position is strong and secure. I rejoice over the future because I know that, with You, I am ready for it!
And because of Ps.46:5 which says, "God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God will help her right early [at the dawn of the morning]." I know that because God is in the midst, I shall not be moved, and I believe God is helping me right early.
And because of Ps.144:1 which says, "BLESSED BE the Lord, my Rock and my keen and firm Strength, Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight--" I know that the Lord is my keen and firm strength, who is teaching my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. My problems are my foes, and I am constantly being victorious over them.
And because of 1 Cor.15:58 which says, "But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ." I know that You are giving me the victory and that you have made me more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.
And because
of Ps.30:7 which says, "By Your favor, O
Lord, You have established me as a strong mountain." I
know
that I have your favor and that I am as a strong mountain.
And because of Ps.31:24 which says, "Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!." I wait for and hope in the Lord, and therefore I am strong and my heart takes courage.
And because of Ps.103:5 which says, "Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!." I believe the Lord is satisfying my mouth with good so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's and I am strong, I am an overcomer and I soar through life like an eagle!
And because of Ps.105:24 which says, "There [the Lord] greatly increased His people and made them stronger than their oppressors." I believe the Lord is greatly increasing me and is making me stronger than my oppressors and my problems.
And because of Prov.3:26 which says, "For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger]." I believe the Lord is my confidence, making me firm and strong, and He keeps my feet from being caught in a trap, and He keeps me hidden from danger.
And because of Prov.14:26 which says, "In the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children shall always have a place of refuge." I know that as I stay in a place of reverent and worshipful fear toward God, I have strong confidence.
