Speaking Right Things
Father, in the name of Jesus, in you righteousness I stand before you committing myself to speak Your Word concerning all areas of my life and every situation that I face.
I have put away from me a forward mouth and perverse lips I have put far from me. Because I am righteous, my mouth has become a well of life, my tongue is as choice silver, and my lips feed many.
My mouth continually brings forth wisdom, and because I am righteous, my lips know what is acceptable. I am therefore, satisfied with good by the fruit of my mouth.
In my tongue is health for I speak the Word of God which is health to our bones and medicine to all our flesh.
Because I keep my mouth, I keep my life. My tongue is a tree of life and it uses knowledge rightly.
I have joy in the answer of my mouth and a word spoken in due season, how good it is. Because I am pure, my words are pleasant to the ears of my listeners. The soft answers that come out of my mouth turn away wrath. A soft speech breaks down the most bonelike resistance. The preparations of my heart and the answers of my tongue are from the Lord.
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer and grace is poured unto my lips.
The Lord has given me the tongue of disciples and of those who are taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary.
I peak excellent and princely things and the opening of my lips is for right things only. My mouth utters truth and wrong doing is detestable and loathsome to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in right standing with God; there is nothing contrary to truth or crooked in them.
My mouth brings forth skillful and Godly wisdom. Because I speak the wisdom of God, my lips bring healing to the nations.
Jesus has made me a king in this earth and divinely directed decisions are found on my lips. The words of my mouth are sweet as a honeycomb, pleasant to my mind and healing to my body.
The words that I speak are as deep waters; they are a fountain of skillful and godly wisdom, like a gushing stream, sparkling, fresh, pure and life-giving.
Because I keep my mouth and my tongue, I keep myself from trouble. The words of my mouth are gracious, full of knowledge, like a vase of preciousness, and continually win me favor.
