Peace of
Mind
The
goal of this website is to show you how to live in perfect peace,
the way God intended for us to live. This may sound too good to be
true, but it is not. The reason we sometimes have anxiety is because
of the fears we accumulate during our life's journey. Because they
grow on us so slowly, most of us don't realize we are operating in
fear when making decisions in everyday life. To open your eyes to
the possibility that you may have fears, consciously check yourself
for a week, at every move you make, and see if fear is coming into
play. You may be surprised.
Fear and Faith
The opposite of fear is faith. Thus, the more we focus on
strengthening our faith, the fewer fears we have to contend with.
And how does one develop a strong faith. We believe the answer to
this question in found in the Bible. Does one need to become
religious to have strong faith? Not necessarily, but it can help. You see,
faith in anything will produce peace, as it is
the transference of responsibility from
our shoulders onto
another's shoulders that gives us peace. Although faith in
anything can produce peace, why not examine the originator of faith:
God - The God of the Bible.
How The Problems Start
The
problems arise in our lives when a situation in our life appears to
require more than we feel capable of producing. At that point our
minds begin running on a treadmill trying to figure out how we will
solve this problem. It is this treadmill effect that causes us the
need to unwind. We need to unwind because our problems have 'wound
us up', (or more correctly stated, we let them wind us up.).
For some people, unwinding is using or abusing nicotine or alcohol,
for others it is drugs or partying or shopping, etc.. Anything that takes
our mind away from those nagging treadmill thoughts is easily
adopted into our lifestyles, and over time these become habits,
habits which can become difficult to break when wanting to break
free from them down the road. By taking time each day to purposely
transfer our attention away from our problems, and place it on our
personal development of our faith, we chip away at the fears that
direct us to the 'treadmills' in our minds. A lifestyle of
faith can be so developed, that you can live in a state of perpetual
peace, which was God's intent for us from the very beginning.
Sure we have problems with crime and war, but those are instigated
by people who have not seen the light of the true meaning of life.
We can pray for them and hope that they will one day stop their
anti-life behaviour. At that point we will have peace all over the
world. But it all starts with us. We must come to grips with our own
anxiety triggers and disarm them. Once we are free, then others
will notice, and want the same freedom. Do you desire perfect peace?
Then I invite you to contact me. We'll
go over your situation and come up with a personal game plan to
develop your faith, a faith that will produce the peace you desire.
A peace that will enable you to go through any difficult situation
with hope and confidence. l trust this article has inspired you, and
I look forward to hearing from you. Take care and have a great day.
